No clear view of television: football fan in bayreuth goes berserk, insults family and shouts hitlergrub

No clear view of television: football fan in bayreuth goes berserk, insults family and shouts hitlergrub

In the fubganger zone in bayreuth on saturday afternoon at about 16.20 o'clock a 36-year-old man ticked off in front of an iced coffee while the world cup quarterfinal match between england and sweden was being broadcast. This is what the police reported on sunday.

A guest who had sat down there to watch the game on the television set obviously did not like the fact that passers-by caught a glimpse of the game in passing and presumably obstructed his view of the television set for a short time. The man expressed his displeasure with massively insulting remarks against a couple and their child. Furthermore, he also called out the hitlergrub loudly several times, which in turn prompted randomly present officials of the city of bayreuth to call in the officers of the bayreuth police inspection via a security guard patrol.

When the facts of the case were clarified, it emerged that the accused 36-year-old from the district of bayreuth was obviously heavily intoxicated. A test at an alcohol dispenser showed a value of over two per mille. Confronted with the accusations, however, the man denied having made any insulting or punishable remarks. At the time of the incident, the fubganger zone was very busy due to the burger festival and the soccer game. A check of the man's personal details by the police officers revealed that he had already made an appearance in the past for similar matters.

The new head of training is looking forward to great potential

The new head of training is looking forward to great potential

The wiesentheider start the new season with a new coach. However, thomas latteier is no stranger to the district. After coaching abtswind for just over two years and bayern kitzingen for four years, he retired not only from the county but also from coaching for more than three years to drive his talented son to nurnberg for training and games. "Since tim has been playing for the u19 juniors for the past year and now lives there, that was out of the question," says the 50-year-old.

The call from wiesentheid came as a surprise, says latteier about the contact. Before that, he had ended his second term as coach at bamberger kreisklassisten burghaslach after only three months for sporting reasons and actually wanted to take a break. "I looked at three games and realized that there was a lot of potential here," latteier says, citing one argument. He can also identify with the return to the wiesentheider way, which is to bring as many talents as possible from the own youth into the first team. "There is not only an idea, but it is also being implemented consistently. Six to seven players are currently in their first or second year in the men’s team," he points out.

The task of giving young players additional skills and improving them as a result appealed to him. In addition, the team also includes older players such as christian enzbrenner, alexander ruppert and martin seitz. "I still know them from my time in kitzingen. With their experience, they can take the young players by the hand," says latteier. He still doesn’t see the team achieving his goal of playing offensive, possession-oriented football. However, just five weeks of preparation have passed. "The team has to get used to its new coach first, and i have to get used to the team," he sees no hurry in this process to present results already on the first matchday.

Dfb talent spot in schwarzach

Dfb talent spot in schwarzach

Not the clubs FSG wiesentheid and dettelbach and local parts are home to the tenth DFV base in northern bavaria, but the still young FV schwarzenau-stadtschwarzach. The decisive factor for the opening is the rough distances between the two nearest base towns hochstadt and randersacker.

Robert kilin, DFB coordinator for northern bavaria, explains: "schwarzach has convinced us. The infrastructure is very good, the local people are very committed. I am looking forward to working with schwarzach." The support point is led by jochen seuling and roland konig, betray kilin.

In 2012, the talented players of the 2001 age group will be screened in order to be included in the DFB talent program for the new season. All football players of this age group who live in the schwarzach region can register at the next talent scouting location (randersacker) or directly at the talent scouting day 15. July come to randersacker.

Eggolsheim is finding its feet

Eggolsheim is finding its feet

After a fantastic last season and promotion from the district league to the upper franconia district league without losing any points, the 1. Volleyball women’s team of SV-DJK eggolsheim also started successfully into the new season. On the weekend the first team in bayreuth successfully opened their first season in the district league upper franconia and immediately got the first three points. Coach joachim hingler’s team won a thrilling 3-2 against BTS bayreuth. But against TS selb they lost unhappily with 3:2. With consistent use of all opportunities even a double victory would have been possible. The women’s volleyball team is nevertheless pleased with its first points victory and has presented itself well in the new league for the time being. The next away game takes the ladies on saturday, 19. October, again to bayreuth, where they have to play against BSV bayreuth and vfb einberg.

The team squad has remained the same, there were no new additions or departures to record. For the eggolsheim women’s volleyball team, the district league is a tough challenge that they and their coach joachim hingler have prepared for in intensive training sessions and several preparatory tournaments.
Three home matchdays in the eggerbachhalle are on the schedule this season: on 26. October against VG bamberg II and TSV neudrossenfeld, on 9. November against BTS bayreuth and the BSV bayreuth, as well as on 8. February against SCG hollfeld and vfb einberg. The team hopes that the support from the spectators will continue to be as strong as in the past and that the eggolsheim fans will find their way to the eggerbachhalle in even greater numbers.

The rough success of the 1. Team led to the foundation of a 2. Volleyball team, which is composed mainly of youth and junior players. They start already on saturday with home games against TSV neudrossenfeld III and SV steinwiesen in the district league season.

The promotion of the bamberg bucks to the bavarian league is perfect

The promotion of the bamberg bucks to the bavarian league is perfect

The FV 1912 stadium was the venue for the semifinals of the american football regional league of bavaria playoffs between the bamberg bucks and the aschaffenburg stallions. The third meeting of the two teams this season was even closer than the first duels (5:0, 12:2 for the bucks), but there was also more at stake: the winner would move into the final and thus make the promotion to the bavarian league perfect.
In front of nearly 400 spectators the bucks started with their offense, which had to end their first drive with a missed field goal. The defense quickly recovered the ball, kicker christoph huth aimed a little more accurately and scored to make it 3:0. The rest of the game was similar until half-time – an attentive defense stopped the guests again and again, and huth scored again with a kick. Before that, the bamberg offense had marched well, but a lack of concentration cost the team a touchdown on two drives. At the break it was 6:0.
After the restart, the stallions fell in love with their passing game and overcame the bucks defense for the first time this year. The aschaffenburg pass catcher allowed himself his second unsportsmanlike conduct during the touchdown and was sent off the field. Thanks to an unsuccessful extra point the score was 6:6. One person in particular was not happy with this score: running back benedikt haderer, who was still active for the guests last year, completed a sparing drive by the bucks offense with a spectacular run in which he shook off several of his old teammates and scored the 13:6 (extra point by huth).
Aschaffenburg did not surrender, but scored, favored by penalties against the bamberg defense, three minutes before the end also again. On the extra point try, things got very exciting: instead of kicking for the equalizer, the guests went for the win and lined up for the two-point conversion: a single chance to push the ball over the line from just under two meters and turn the deficit into a lead. In this game-deciding situation, however, the bucks’ defense showed why it was the best in the league last season, stopping the ball carrier well short of the line. The battle was thus fought, as the offense controlled the ball and the opponent until the final whistle.
The bucks have won promotion to the bavarian league at the first attempt. Saturday, 18. August, it still comes to the final around the national league championship with the also undefeated starnberg argonauts.
